Submissions Now Being Accepted For CRS 2013 Radio Humanitarian Awards
 
 
(Nashville, Tenn. – Dec. 6, 2012)  Submissions are currently being accepted through Friday, Jan. 11, for the CRS 2013 Radio Humanitarian Awards. 
The awards are presented each year at Country Radio Seminar to those full-time Country radio stations that exhibit outstanding effort and commitment to improving the quality of life for the communities they serve.  Awards are given in the Large (markets 1-50), Medium (markets 51-130) and Small (markets 131+) market categories for public service performed between Nov. 1, 2011, and Dec. 31, 2012.
Applicants should submit a brief written presentation (two pages maximum, including photos) to humanitarian@crb.org, summarizing the details of the station’s community service efforts performed during that period.

About Country Radio Seminar:Country Radio Seminar is an annual convention designed to educate and promote the exchange of ideas and business practices in the Country music industry, with specific emphasis on issues relevant to Country radio.  CRS 2013 will be held Feb. 27 – March 1, 2013, in downtown Nashville, Tenn., at the Nashville Convention Center.  $499 Registration is now available.  Visit www.CountryRadioSeminar.com for more information.
