Country Radio Seminar Offers Unprecedented Gift to the Country Music Industry

Save money, save a life, and get “IT” at CRS 2013!

(Nashville, Tenn. – Oct. 22, 2012) Country Radio Seminar is announcing an unprecedented opportunity for CRS attendees to take advantage of a potentially lifesaving test and presentation at CRS 2013, held Feb. 27 – March 1, 2013.

Cleveland HeartLab has agreed to offer “IT,” also known as Inflammation Testing, for as many as 500 CRS attendees who are interested in learning more about their risk for a heart attack or stroke.  IT is a quick and easy blood test (no fasting required) that provides unique insight into heart health beyond basic cholesterol testing.  The first 500 CRS attendees to visit the on-site Cleveland HeartLab Screening Suite will be tested.  The Screening Suite will remain open daily from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., or until 500 tests have been administered.

“In the music business, we often say ‘it’s all about the song,’ but in this case ‘it’s all about the heart,’” says CRS President Mike Culotta.  “So it should be easy enough for us to grasp the concept when we’re talking about our health.  The fact is, all the talent in the world doesn’t mean a thing without a healthy heart, so join us at CRS and get your IT!”

According to the American Heart Association, 50 percent of people who experience heart attack or stroke have normal cholesterol.  Inflammation in the arteries has proven to be a more accurate predictor of heart attacks or strokes than any other test available.  Each participant will be able to securely check their test results online and take them to their personal physician, if desired.

The Cleveland HeartLab is delivering the presentation, “Your Heart and the Health of our Industry,” at CRS 2013 on Friday, March 1, at 3 p.m.  Using the anonymous test results of CRS attendees, the presentation will include a risk profile based on the sample and an explanation of what the data means.

Inflammation Testing typically costs insurance companies approximately $1,000 per test, but CRS attendees will not be charged for this service.  CRS 2013 Early Bird registration is currently available for $399 through Oct. 31 atwww.CountryRadioSeminar.com.
