Feb 25, 2010 Educational Aspects of Country Radio Seminar Offer Attendees 360 Coverage, Extended Value |
CRB, Inc.® Adds to List of Featured Panelists at CRS 2010 Country Radio Seminar 2010, to be held Feb. 24-26, 2010, has announced an updated list of educational panels and agenda items designed to empower CRS attendees in today’s uncertain economy. The educational aspects of CRS 2010 provide the kind of invaluable information that can be used long after the three-day seminar has ended. Starting with the Keynote Address from respected financial authority, Dave Ramsey, CRS 2010 is packed with expert speakers, comprehensive market research and current industry issues designed to educate attendees, regardless of market size or region. Panel topics will cover issues such as getting records played, finding jobs in today’s competitive environment, building revenue streams, avoiding PPM panic, expanding online opportunities and increasing new media effectiveness and profitability. “There is always a lot of hype surrounding the big name superstars we have performing at CRS events, so sometimes the education aspect of the seminar is overshadowed,” says CRB President Becky Brenner. “The truth is that the panels, guest speakers and networking opportunities help you walk away with actionable ideas you can implement immediately that will help you succeed. The Agenda committee works hard to bring you the topics that are most relevant to our industry and the people who you need to build relationships with, particularly when times are tough.” Newly added panels to the CRS 2010 agenda include: The Radiothon Effect: The Reality of Radiothons (moderated by Lon Helton), The Big Idea: How to Come Up with Long-term Creative Ideas that Sell in a Tough Economy (moderated by Paul Weyland) and Town Hall: The Industry Truth Revealed (moderated by Tony Randall and Kris Rochester with panelists Mike Dungan, John Esposito, Scott Lindy, Larry Wilson and Gretchen Wilson). Along with previously announced Keynote speaker Dave Ramsey and bestselling author Bob Rosner’s Workplace 911 panel, other can’t-miss educational items include: CMA’s Prime Prospects Research Presentation and CMA Research Workshop Label Partnerships (Skip Bishop and Steve Hodges) So You Think You Know How to Interview? You’re Wrong! (Craig Morgan, Blair Garner, Garret Doll, Sharla McCoy and Rick “Bubba” Taylor) The Great Playlist Debate: Can Passive be Passionate? (Wade Jessen, Jimmy Harnen, Doug Montgomery and John Shomby) 360 Experience: How to Hold Listeners (Paul Williams and Michael Deputato) PPM Affects All of Us (Charlie Cook, Scott Mahalick, and Gary Marince) Let’s Hear It for the Brand (Pete Keiser from Cracker Barrel) Size Doesn’t Matter: Awesome Online (Jennie Smythe, Katie Dean, and Joel Burke) Radio Stars: Talent Coaching and Development (Chris Carr and Chris Hansen) Normal People - Focus Group (Lance Houston) For more detailed information on CRS 2010 agenda items and a full list of panelists, visit www.crb.org/crs2010/agenda/ Country Radio Broadcaster’s first ever $99 Unemployment Rate is currently available through Jan. 31, 2010.
