CRS 2011 Digital Liners Registration Deadline for Stations is Oct. 31

Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood among artists already confirmed

(Nashville, TN – Oct. 11, 2010)  Radio stations wishing to participate in the CRS 2011 digital liners program must register for CRS (Mar. 2-4, 2011) and send their custom liners to CRB by the Oct. 31 submission deadline.

A partial list of artists already confirmed to participate include: Rodney Atkins, Sara Evans, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Justin Moore, Jerrod Niemann, James Otto, Jake Owen, Kellie Pickler, John Rich, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Chris Young.  Additional artists continue to be confirmed.

“We are encouraged by the tremendous support from the label community thus far.  We already have over 30 artist confirmations and look forward to many more in the coming weeks,” says CRB Board Member and Chair of the Digital Liners Task Force, John Zarling.  “With a limited time $399 rate and a limited number of slots available for customized artist liners, now is the perfect time to register for CRS 2011!”

Artists can expect to receive all station liner requests directly from CRB no later than Nov. 3, 2010.  Finished liners must then be submitted back to CRB at liners@crb.org by Dec. 15, 2010.

Artists who sign up for the program are obligated to record up to three custom liners per station, not to exceed a total of 150 stations.  One generic liner set will also be recorded for stations registering after the Oct. 31 deadline.

The all-digital liners program permanently replaced the Artist Radio Taping Sessions (A.R.T.S.) at CRS 2010, providing artists with more flexibility to record the liners at their leisure.  Stations benefit from a streamlined recording process and superior audio quality thanks to the digital file format.  Sixty-eight artists and more than 150 radio stations participated in the program’s debut at CRS 2010.
