"Workplace 911" Another Can't-Miss Panel at CRS 41

Best-Selling Author Bob Rosner Offers Timely Advice for Survival in Tough Times.

Best-selling business author and award-winning journalist, Bob Rosner, will host the Workplace 911 panel at Country Radio Seminar® 41, to be held Feb. 24-26, 2010, in downtown Nashville, Tenn.
Rosner, known as "Dilbert with a solution," is the author of The Wall Street Journal best-seller, "The Boss's Survival Guide," as well as a regular contributor on the "Today" show and CNBC. The WorkPlace 911 panel will be held Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 2:30 p.m., and according to Rosner, will offer CRS attendees valuable advice on "how to create a saner and more productive workplace, how to break through the masses to actually get hired, how to survive layoffs and restructuring and how to be the kind of boss people actually want to work for," among other topics.
"Our Workplace 911 panel is particularly relevant to our attendees this year. Unfortunately, there are an unusually large number of qualified individuals competing for jobs in this industry right now, and whether you're currently employed or not, Bob Rosner's practical advice and insight couldn't come at a more opportune time," says CRB Executive Director Ed Salamon.
For the last 14 years, Rosner has co-authored the internationally syndicated column "WorkPlace911," (formerly "Working Wounded: Advice That Adds Insight to Injury") appearing in publications such as the Los Angeles Times, New York Daily News and online at ABCnews.com. He has been a featured contributor for People, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Newsweek, Reader's Digest, Playboy and on "Good Morning America" and "60 Minutes," among others. Rosner has delivered keynote speeches in 48 of the 50 United States, as well as Australia, England, Canada, New Zealand, Scotland and the Philippines.
"Radio can play a key role in helping people survive these tough times. This is a win-win situation; it's good for the industry and good for the radio audience," says Rosner.
Rosner's appearance at CRS 41 follows in the seminar's recent tradition of booking prominent speakers to address and empower attendees in the face of a difficult economy, including marketing guru Seth Godin (keynote speaker at CRS 40) and money management expert (Dave Ramsey, keynote speaker at CRS 41).
