Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. Announces New Agenda Chair, Board Members


Following the success of this year's CRS-40, plans are already in the works for CRS-41, to be held February 24-26, 2010 at the Nashville Convention Center. In preparation for the event, the CRB board has announced that John Paul, Program Director of KUPL Country 98.7 in Portland, Ore. will serve as Agenda Chair for the upcoming year. Serving as Vice Chair will be Annie Sandor, Marketing Director of WKIS in Miami, Fla. The CRB Board also added two new Board Members in the At-Large Category: Natalie Conner (VP, GM 92.5 WTXU Philadelphia) and Joel Raab (Consultant, Langhorn, Penn.). Also re-elected in the At-Large category were John Shomby (Max Media, Virginia Beach, Va.) and Scott Lindy (WUBL, Atlanta, Ga.). Members re-elected to the Board for three-year terms were: Mike Culotta (WQYK, St. Petersburg, Fla.), Keith Kaufman (WSIX, Nashville, Tenn.), John Crenshaw (WCOL, Columbus, Ohio), Michael Osterhout (MCC Radio, Augusta, Ga.), Tom Baldrica (Sony Music Entertainment, Nashville, Tenn.) and Denise Roberts (Nashville, Tenn.). Officers for the coming year, who also return as Board members, will be: Becky Brenner - President (KMPS, Seattle, Wash.), R.J. Curtis - Vice President (Radio & Records, Los Angeles, Calif.), Carole Bowen - Secretary (WKIS, Miami, Fla.) and Jeff Walker - Treasurer (AristoMedia/Marco Promotions, Nashville, Tenn.). Other returning Board members are: Joel Burke (KYGO, Greenwood Village, Colo.), Mike Dungan (Capitol Records, Nashville, Tenn.), Renee Fonner (WGH-FM, Virginia Beach, Va.), David Haley (Nashville, Tenn.), Clay Hunnicutt (Clear Channel, Atlanta, Ga.), Renee Leymon (Lyric Street Records, Nashville, Tenn.), Bill Macky (Stroudavarious Records, Nashville, Tenn.), Bill Mayne (Consultant, Nashville, Tenn.), Mike McVay (McVay Media, Cleveland, Ohio), Charlie Monk (Monk Family Music Group, Nashville, Tenn.), Royce Risser (UMG Nashville, Nashville, Tenn.), Tim Roberts (WYCD - CBS Radio, Southfield, Mich.), Rusty Walker (Rusty Walker Programming, Luka, Miss.) and John Zarling (Big Machine Records/The Valory Music Co., Nashville, Tenn.). Exiting from the Board this year is Kim Leslie (WJXA, Nashville, Tenn.). Additional revisions to the by-laws have created three new one-year board positions, to be filled within the next 45 days.
