CRB Awards Kenny Chesney and Mac McAnally for "Down The Road"


CRB Executive Director Ed Salamon presented BNA artist Kenny Chesney ASCAP writer Mac McAnally with Country Radio Broadcasters certificates of appreciation at a #1 party for "Down The Road" at ASCAP on Mach 9, 2009 . In presenting McAnally with his first CRB award, Salamon commented that it was good to noted that it was good to hear his voice on Country radio again. McAnally had “Back Where I Come From” and other hits as an artist in the early 90s. Salamon also thanked Kenny Chesney, the highest grossing touring artist of any genre, for attending the ceremony. The Country Radio Broadcasters presents this certificate of appreciation to songwriters and artists, on behalf of radio, in recognition of songs which have helped to expand the audience for Country radio.
