Digital Rodeo Stages Second Annual Wrap Party and Show to Close Out Country Radio Seminar

Digital Rodeo Stages Second Annual Wrap Party and Show to Close Out Country Radio Seminar

Cadillac Ranch to Host Festivities, “Guilty Pleasures” Show

Following the success of last year’s inaugural CRS 40th Anniversary Jam, DigitalRodeo.com has once again partnered with Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc.® to stage a unique concert which will unofficially close out CRS 2010.

This year’s event, dubbed the Digital Rodeo Guilty Pleasures Show, will be held Friday, Feb. 26, at Cadillac Ranch in downtown Nashville.  The show is set to kick off at 10:30 p.m. or immediately following the CRS New Faces of Country Music® Show and Dinner at the Nashville Convention Center.

The “Guilty Pleasures” theme encourages artists to choose and perform cover versions of one of their favorite songs from any artist, across any genre of music.   Last year’s show featured performances from artists including Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Jimmy Wayne, Julianne Hough, James Otto, Jamie O’Neal, Justin Moore, Brady Seals and many more.   A selection of Nashville’s finest musicians will once again serve as the artists’ backing band.

“Last year’s event was such a huge success that we knew we had to do it again this year,” says Robert Reynolds, DigitalRodeo.com Director of Industry Relations.  “Every artist has a ‘guilty pleasure’ when it comes to music, and this is their opportunity to get up on stage and really cut loose and have some fun.  We’ve expanded the show so that artists can cover any song from any genre, so who knows what we’ll hear this year.  I do know it’s going to be a memorable night with more than a few surprises!”

Adds Sharon Allen, CRB Director of Sponsorship Sales, “The Digital Rodeo event at CRS really ends the seminar on a fun note.  There are very few opportunities for artists to get on stage and perform basically anything they want, so we received a lot of positive feedback last year from the artists in that respect.  And of course, the packed house got to see some of Nashville’s biggest names do something really unique.  It’s definitely one of the CRS live events that people are already talking about this year.”

Artists appearing at this year’s Digital Rodeo Guilty Pleasures Show will be announced in the coming weeks.
