CRB, Inc. Announces Revisions to CRS-40
Wednesday Agenda

Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. has adjusted the Wednesday, March 4 agenda schedule at CRS-40 to allow for an earlier time slot for this year's keynote speaker, Seth Godin.

Events for the day kick off at 9 a.m. with the Opening Ceremonies and Award Presentation.  The keynote address will follow at 10 a.m. in the Performance Hall, with the Motivational Speaker/Life Coach panel at 11:15 a.m.  This year's speaker will be former No. 1 country artist Sylvia Hutton.

The existing morning Artist Radio Taping Session (sponsored by SESAC) will be combined with the afternoon A.R.T.S. panel.  As a result, the afternoon session will be extended by one hour (2:30 p.m. - 4:50 p.m.).

The Artist Radio Taping Sessions is one of the Country Radio Seminar highlights each year for attendees.  Top country artists, as well as emerging talent, will be available to record program liners and station IDs during the expanded taping session. Admission to A.R.T.S. is restricted to radio, networks, and syndicators only.

"Since CRS-40's keynote address was moved up earlier in the day, we felt like it was in the best interests of both the artists and our radio attendees to combine the two A.R.T.S. sessions this year," said CRB Executive Director Ed Salamon.  "This change provides artists with a more convenient time to participate and thereby increases the number and caliber of the artists available to radio attendees."

Additionally, Thursday's 40 Ingredients For A More Balanced Life panel has been moved to Wednesday at 4 p.m. as an option for those not attending the rescheduled Artist Radio Taping Session.

The keynote address was moved into the Performance Hall this year in anticipation of increased attendance to see speaker Seth Godin.  Godin, regarded as a master of marketing, has written several bestselling books on the subject, including "The Dip," "All Marketers are Liars," "Free Prize Inside," "Purple Cow" and "Meatball Sundae."  His most recent book, "Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us," quickly became a Top Ten bestseller on Amazon.com upon its release last October.

CRS-40 will be held March 4-6, 2009 at the Nashville Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.  An updated schedule of the agenda and confirmed panelists can be viewed at the CRB website: www.crb.org.  The regular rate of $699 expires Feb. 6.  On-site registration will be $749.
