CRB Executive Director Ed Salamon presented Capitol Nashville artist/ASCAP writer Darius Rucker and ASCAP writer Chris DuBois and Ashley Gorley with Country Radio Broadcasters certificates of appreciation at a #1 party for "It Won’t Be Like This For Long” at ASCAP on June 15, 2009 . In making the presentation, Salamon joked with Rucker, who was celebrating his second number one record with his second single, that if he would have known it was this easy he would have become a Country artist a long time ago. The Country Radio Broadcasters presents this certificate of appreciation to songwriters and artists, on behalf of radio, in recognition of songs which have helped to expand the audience for Country radio. |
