CRB, Inc. Announces Single Day Rates for Music Industry Town Meeting, Radio Sales Day at CRS-40
Music Industry Town Meeting Day to be held Thursday, March 5, Radio Sales Day is Friday, March 6
Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. has announced special single day rates for their "Music Industry Town Meeting Day" (Thursday, March 5) and "Radio Sales Day" (Friday, March 6) at CRS-40.
The registration fee for Thursday is $265, and Friday's rate is $370.  Friday's registration includes entrance into the New Faces of Country Music Show, (co-sponsored by Radio and Records and The Country Music Association).
"We look forward to providing the Country Radio Sales professionals who are not able to attend the entire convention with an intensive day of training, designed to enable them to increase their billing and their own incomes when they return to work on Monday," says CRB Executive Director Ed Salamon.
Thursday's panels will focus on topics relevant to all industry professionals, while Friday's agenda will be geared more specifically towards the country music Radio industry.
Music Industry Town Meeting Day - Thursday, March 5: Registrants will enjoy the return of the Tech Track and Small Market Track panels, BMI/Country Aircheck's WCRS Live! and Sony Music Nashville's luncheon. Details and highlighted panels listed below.
Sony Music Nashville Luncheon - Noon - 1:50 p.m.

Engaging the X/Y Consumer with the CAA: The Intelligence Group - 2:00 - 2:50 p.m.  Amanda Freeman returns this year to present an hour-long trendcast on consumer culture and how one's brand can target consumers most effectively.  The panel will address how the retail, brand, and technological landscape is changing and how to best embrace the next generation of consumers. Radio in a 360 World: Internet Applications That Work - 3:05 - 3:55 p.m.
Everyone wants to catch the listener!  Programming wants them, Sales wants them, and Advertising needs them!  Deb Esayian, from Emmis Digital, has proven ideas that will assist you in reaching or catching your fast-moving listener.  Pick up some ideas on how you can make money with the Internet and social networks, as well as landing measurable advertising results. Radio Sales Day - Friday, March 6:  Panels focus on important topics that affect the country Radio format, such as consumer habits, promotional and research ideas, Sales Manager tips and tools to increase sales.  Registrants will be able to attend a full day of CRS activities, including panels, the Managers' Breakfast, Capitol Nashville's luncheon, and Friday night's annual New Faces of Country Music Show.  Details listed below.

Every sales person can use great sales ideas that they can apply in their market.  At this panel, attendees will be provided with ideas that will help make them money. Last year, there were 10 great ideas shared - by overwhelming demand, that number will be doubled this year!  These are plans that every country radio station can implement, so take these ideas back to your market! PPM!  Selling the Country Format - 10:00 - 10:50 a.m.

This session will provide sellers with ideas on how to increase your automotive revenue.  Who do you call on at a dealership?  How do you quickly find out their adverting budget?   What programs really work and which ones don't?  What irritates auto dealers the most? This session will answer these questions and more.
New Faces of Country Music Show - 6:30 - 10:00 p.m.
Artists featured at this year's show include: Lady Antebellum, James Otto, Kellie Pickler, Chuck Wicks and The Zac Brown Band.
