CRB Executive Director Ed Salamon presented Warner Brothers recording artist Blake Shelton and BMI writers Amy Foster and Alan Chang with certificates of appreciation at a #1 party held at BMI on August 25, 2008. In making the presentation, Salamon noted that "Home" was evidence that a great song can be a hit in multiple formats. He also complimented Shelton on his foresight in recording a version that Country radio could play. The Country Radio Broadcasters presents this certificate of appreciation to songwriters and artists, on behalf of radio, in recognition of songs which have helped to expand the audience for Country radio.
