CRB Awards Darius Rucker and Co-writer Clay Mills for "Don't Think I Don't Think About It"

CRB Executive Director Ed Salamon presented Capitol Nashville recording artist Darius Rucker and ASCAP co-writer Clay Mills with CRB certificates of appreciation at a #1 party for "Don't Think I Don't Think About It" held at ASCAP on November 11, 2008. In making the presentation, Salamon noted that the pop success that both honorees have had certainly indicates that they are bringing new listeners to Country radio. Rucker was lead vocalist of Hootie and The Blowfish, whose 1994 album, "Cracked Rear View" is one of the best selling albums of all time, selling in excess of 14 million copies. Mills' hits include Kimberly Locke's "Fall" as well as Country hits by Diamond Rio, Andy Griggs and Clay Walker.

The Country Radio Broadcasters presents this certificate of appreciation to songwriters and artists, on behalf of radio, in recognition of songs which have helped to expand the audience for Country radio.
