CRB, Inc. Announces Larry Wilson as Recepient of Tom Rivers Humanitarian Award


The Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc.® (CRB) have announced former Chairman and CEO of Citadel Communications Corp., Larry Wilson, as the recipient of this year's Tom Rivers Humanitarian Award.  The award will be presented to Wilson at the Opening Ceremonies of Country Radio Seminar (CRS-38) on Thursday, March 1, 2007.

Bill Mayne, Vice President of CRB, Inc. said, "We are proud to be presenting this award to Larry who has done so much work for the radio industry. His support for numerous causes over the years has been exemplary.

The award is named in honor of late CRB, Inc. Board Member, Tom Rivers. It recognizes individuals in the Country Radio industry who have displayed a magnanimous spirit of caring and generosity in service to their community.

Larry Wilson has donated his time and money to numerous organizations over the years. As a major advocate for the National Humane Society, he is responsible for the Northwest Montana Humane Society. He has also contributed to the Montana Land Reliance, a public trust to maintain thousands of acres of wilderness, and has provided his personal resources to fund search and rescue missions in Mexico. In 2002, Wilson was named Radio Executive of the Year by Radio Ink.
