CRB, Inc. Announces Performers for the BMI WCRS Live! Showcase at CRS 38


Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc.® (CRB) announced the performers for the BMI WCRS Live! Showcase at this year's Country Radio Seminar (CRS-38). The program will feature acoustic performances by Sarah Buxton, Pat Green, Mac Davis and the show's host, Jeffery Steele. BMI WCRS Live! is scheduled for 4:15 – 5:45 PM on Thursday, March 1, 2007.

Sarah Buxton's self-titled debut album on Lyric Street Records will be released in summer of 2007 and features her popular first single, "Innocence," which is at radio now. Sarah is also a talented songwriter. She co-wrote Keith Urban's latest single "Stupid Boy."

A mainstay on the Texas music scene, Pat Green exploded onto Nashville's radar in 2003 with his single, "Wave on Wave." Green's current BNA Records album, Cannonball, features the hit single "Feels Just Like It Should" as well as his current single "Dixie Lullaby."

Famed songwriter Mac Davis' career took of in the early 1970s, when Elvis Presley recorded Davis' songs "In The Ghetto," "Memories" and "Don't Cry Daddy." He scored a #1 pop hit with "Baby, Baby Don't Get Hooked on Me," has also written hits for Glen Campbell and Kenny Rogers, and was named the ACM Entertainer of the Year in 1975. Davis was also the host of his own NBC variety show and has appeared on screen in movies such as "North Dallas Forty" opposite Nick Nolte, and on the television shows "That 70s Show" and "King of the Hill" among others.

Jeffrey Steele will serve as host for the BMI WCRS Live! He is an accomplished songwriter, performer and producer and has penned hits such as "What Hurts The Most," "Speed," "My Wish," "Brand New Girlfriend," "Gone," "Something To Be Proud Of" and "Cowboy In Me." He is the 2006 NSAI Songwriter of the Year.
