The 40th Anniversary Jam: A Musical Thanks to Radio

Unique Concert Event Celebrates 40 Years of Country Radio Seminar
DigitalRodeo.com has partnered with Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. to create a unique 40th anniversary concert event at Cadillac Ranch as the close of CRS-40 on Friday night, March 6.

The theme of The 40th Anniversary Jam: A Musical Thanks to Radio will be for artists to celebrate 40 years of Country Radio Seminar with performances of their favorite cover songs from the last four decades.  A group of A-list session players has been assembled to serve as the house band for the evening.

"Artists are encouraged to cover any song they choose from Top 40 radio in any genre over the last 40 years," says DigitalRodeo.com's Director of Industry Relations Robert Reynolds.  "It's a creative way for the artists to perform songs they might not normally get an opportunity to play otherwise, as well as a chance for them to say 'thank you' to all their supporters at radio."

The event will be held at 10:30 p.m. following the New Faces of Country Music Show® to officially close out CRS-40.

"CRS-40 marks an impressive milestone in the history of the Country Radio Broadcasters.  We wanted to come up with a unique way to express that, and I think providing an opportunity for so many stars to get up on stage together and really cut loose is the perfect way to close out our fortieth year," says Sharon Allen, CRB Director of Sponsorship Sales.

CRS-40 will be held March 4-6, 2009 at the Nashville Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.  Complete seminar information may be obtained by contacting CRB, Inc. at 615.327.4487 or by visiting www.crb.orgThe advance rate of $599 ends Thursday, Jan. 15.
