Radio Promotion Award Winners to be Recognized at CRS 38

Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc has announced the winners of the 2007 Radio Promotion Awards. Country radio stations were judged in Small, Medium, and Large Market categories for the creativity and implementation of their promotions.  The qualification period was November 1st, 2005 through December 31st, 2006.  Judging criteria for the award included: effect on cume (if measured), objective of the promotion, degree of success,  and overall style of presentation.

"The Promotion Awards are truly what CRS is about… the sharing of great ideas from one station to the next," stated Renee Fonner, Promotion Marketing Director at KFKF in Kansas City.  "No matter the size of the market you’re in, there will be ideas that you will be able to take back to your station and implement on Monday.  More than likely you’ll also be able to sell a sponsorship for the idea and help create additional dollars for your station."

The awards will be presented at CRS-38 during the beginning of Thursday's session (March 1st): Promotions/Programming: Ideas of Steel. The panel begins at 3:15 P.M and will be sponsored by Cold River Records featuring Katie Armiger.

Included in the package, winning stations are awarded a trip to CRS-38 including seminar registration, hotel accommodations and airfare up to $500. The stations to be acknowledged for their innovative promotions with this year's Radio Promotion Award are:
