RADIO PROMOTION AWARD WINNERS RECOGNIZED AT CRS

RADIO PROMOTION AWARD WINNERS RECOGNIZED AT CRS

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 30, 2006) - As part of Country Radio Seminar (CRS-37) each year, Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. credited full-time Country radio stations in the Small, Medium and Large Market categories for their creativity and promotion implementation. The qualification period for this year was between November 1, 2004 and December 1, 2005. Judging criteria for the award included the effect on cume (if measured), the goals the station set for the promotion, how and why it was successful for the station, clients and listeners and the overall professional style of the presentation.

The awards will be presented at the beginning of Thursday's session (Feb. 16), Extreme Makeover Radio Edition Part II: The Finishing Touches. The panel begins at 11:15 a.m.

"CRS is a great seminar that encourages sharing ideas," Renee Fonner, Promotion Marketing Director at KFKF in Kansas City said. "The CRB Promotion Award is not only a great asset to all Country stations but it is a nice tip of the hat to the stations that are creating winning promotions for their listeners and clients. I'm so glad I'm never a judge because every year we receive more entries and they are always great ideas."

The winning stations were awarded a trip to CRS-37 including seminar registration, hotel accommodations and airfare up to $500.
