Research Panels Added To CRS-39® Agenda ADVANCE RATE ENDS TOMORROW!

The Country Radio Seminar continues to be country radio's premier educational event. Consistent with its long tradition of offering radio professionals the most current and relevant information to improve their performance, Country Radio Broadcasters have announced the addition of two research-focused panels to the agenda for CRS-39®; The Great Research Debate and Research 101: Callout, Focus, Music Test.
The Great Research Debate will offer a comparison of successful programmers who rely heavily on research to those who program instinctively. Attendees will learn how some program directors use research and how to achieve a balance of research and guts. This panel will answer the question, is research a tool or is it the bible? The panel will be moderated by Lon Helton of Country Aircheck. Panelists include John Sebastian (KPLX), Justin Case (WZZK), Mike Culotta (WQYK), and Steve Giuttari (WCTK) The Great Research Debate is scheduled for
Wednesday, March 5 at 2:30PM

Research 101: Callout, Focus, Music Test will dissect callout research and examine the challenges radio programmers face in creating playlists. Panelists will discuss how programming decisions are made using callout, record sales, and chart momentum as factors. The panel will be moderated by John Hart of Bullseye Marketing. Panelists include Rusty Walker (Rusty Walker Programming), Joel Burke (KYGO), Doug Montgomery (WBCT), and Lisa Ramsey (Disney Music Publishing). Research 101: Callout, Focus, Music Test is scheduled for Thursday, March 6 at 3:00PM.
