CRB Awards Rodney Clawson, Monty Criswell and Wade Kirby for George Strait's Hit "I Saw God Today"

CRB Awards Rodney Clawson, Monty Criswell and Wade Kirby for George Strait's Hit "I Saw God Today"

CRB Executive Director Ed Salamon presented BMI songwriters Rodney Clawson, Monty Criswell and Wade Kirby with certificates of appreciation for "I Saw God Today", recorded by MCA Nashville artist George Strait. The presentation was made at a #1 party held at BMI on June 4, 2008.  Salamon noted that "I Saw God Today" is George Strait's highest debuting chart single, an indication that many
radio stations immediately recognized its potential to keep their listeners and attract new ones by adding it to their playlists.

The Country Radio Broadcasters presents this certificate of appreciation to songwriters and artists, on behalf of radio, in recognition of songs which have helped to expand the audience for Country radio.
