Nominations Now Open For 2009 Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame Awards
The Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the growth and development of country radio.
Anyone can submit applications for eligible nominees, either living or deceased.
The nominator MUST provide contact information for the nominee or the nominee's next of kin. CRB, Inc. will contact that party with the appropriate information to complete the process. Each nominee then must fill out an application, and may submit materials (air-checks, press clippings, awards listings, etc.) in support of the nomination. These materials MUST be received in the CRB offices (819 18th Ave. S. Nashville, TN 37203) no later than September 15th, 2008.
"These awards honor those individuals who have worked tirelessly to make lasting contributions to country music radio and our industry," says CRB Hall of Fame Chairman RJ Curtis. "If you know someone that is worthy of recognition, please submit your nomination today at www.crb.org."
Award recipients cannot be current members of the Board or Agenda Committee of Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. A voting committee of country radio and industry veterans will make all final decisions regarding inductees.
Plaques commemorating recipients of these awards are on display in the walkway between the Renaissance Hotel and the Nashville Convention Center.
