| May 13, 2008 CRB Awards Taylor Swift for "Our Song" |
CRB Executive Director Ed Salamon presented BMI songwriter and Big Machine artist Taylor Swift with a certificate of appreciation for "Our Song" at a #1 party held at aVenue in Nashville on May 12, 2008. The party had a prom theme in recognition that Taylor was on tour and unable to attend when her high school, Hendersonville High had its prom. While making the presentation, Salamon noted that only one female artist in history had held the number one spot on the Country singles chart longer than Swift and �Our Song�. The Country Radio Broadcasters presents this certificate of appreciation to songwriters and artists, on behalf of radio, in recognition of songs which have helped to expand the audience for Country radio. |
