May 1, 2008 Ralph Emery Nominated For National Radio Hall Of Fame |
According to the organization, "induction into America's only National Radio Hall of Fame represents the highest honor for any one working on-the-air in the radio industry. The National Radio Hall of Fame is part of The Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago, now building a new home for radio's greatest performers. All of our National Radio Hall of Fame nominees have made significant contributions to the radio industry and to their respective communities. Each nominee has a large and loyal following. This year's inductees will join a roster of great radio performers who have preceded them--- Jack Benny, Lowell Thomas, Edward R. Murrow and Orson Welles to name a few." |
