"CRB Radio Outreach " is being offered free of charge to Country radio programming, sales and management personnel. The event is designed to reach out to smaller markets and stations to share the expertise of the Country Radio community in a "growth through sharing" experience.
"We developed the "CRB Radio Outreach" event to offer the expertise of many talented professionals to country radio in smaller markets. CRB's mission has always been to share ideas and educate through the Country Radio Seminar and this type of local outreach. We offer this one day event to radio participants without charge as we want to continue to provide ideas which help the business of Country Radio thrive!" noted Denise Roberts the CRB Board member who is chairing this initiative.
Blair Garner further noted "When I first heard that the CRB was doing a Radio Outreach Event, I immediately volunteered to do whatever I could. A lot of people helped me to develop my style and that enabled me to launch After MidNite and The Blair Garner Show. How do you thank those folks for helping to give you a career? You do your part, and pass along a few tips you learned along the way. There are many ways to do "good radio" and I want to show what works for me. I'm thrilled to be included in this event."
Radio station personnel can register free of charge on-line at www.crb.org by clicking on the "CRB Radio Outreach" icon. Enrollment is limited so register soon! Hotel recommendations upon request.
