CRS-40 Early Bird Registration Ends December 15


Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc.� has announced the early bird registration deadline for CRS-40 is Monday, Dec. 15, 2008. The early bird rate of $499 is currently available through the CRB website at www.crb.org or by contacting the Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. at 615-327-4487. The advance rate of $599 expires Jan. 15 and the regular rate of $699 expires Feb. 6. On-site registration is $749. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Country Radio Seminar�, to be held March 4 - 6, 2009 at the Nashville Convention Center. Marketing guru and renowned author Seth Godin will be CRS-40's keynote speaker. Godin has written several bestsellers, including "Purple Cow," "Meatball Sundae," and his most recent book, "Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us." There are numerous panels specifically geared towards the 40th anniversary theme this year, including 40 New Media Ideas, 40 Ingredients for a More Balanced Life, 40 Free Research Ideas and 40 Great Programming Ideas in 40 Minutes, among others. Returning events at CRS-40 include the label-sponsored lunches, Artist Radio Taping Sessions (sponsored by SESAC), the songwriter showcases WCRS Live! (sponsored by BMI and Country Aircheck) and KCRS Live! (sponsored by ASCAP), the CRS After Hours events and the popular Music City JamTM (sponsored by ACM), headlined this year by CRS veteran and superstar act Tim McGraw. This year's seminar will conclude Friday, March 6 with the New Faces of Country Music� show (sponsored by R&R and CMA).
