In a statement released today by Sean Hannity's Program Director, Phil Boyce, Sean Hannity announced his withdrawl from participating as the keynote speaker of CRS-39. The statement reads: "Due to the rapidly changing events of this year's Presidential primary season, and the magnitude of the Texas and Ohio primaries the night before this event, Sean Hannity has been forced to cancel his appearance as the keynote speaker for the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville on March 5th. Sean deeply regrets the conflict, and any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause." Addressing this statement, Country Radio Broadcasters' Executive Director Ed Salamon responded "We are in the process of finalizing a presentation for the keynote slot which will focus on a hot button industry issue, and expect to be able to announce it early next week. With everything that has happened in the Radio and Music industry since the last Country Radio Seminar, our problem has not been finding topics to address, but finding time to coverB everything necessary."
