Tickets Still Available for CRS 38 Special Events


CRB, Inc. ® has a limited number of tickets available for three special events associated with Country Radio Seminar (CRS) this year.

On Tuesday, Feb. 27, the Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony will be in the Nashville Convention Center. There will be a Cocktail Reception at 5:15 p.m. The dinner and induction ceremony start at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are available at $85 per person at the On-site registration desk at the Nashville Convention Center beginning at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 27th until they are sold out.

The recipients and inductees for the following awards - President's Award, Country Music DJ & Radio Hall of Fame - have already been announced. Charlie Monk will receive the President's Award. Joe Ladd and Big John Trimble will be inducted into the Country Music DJ Hall of Fame. Larry Daniels, Bob Moody and Les Acree will be inducted into the Country Music Radio Hall of Fame. Clint Black will highlight the night with performances in tribute to country music legend and CRB Career Achievement Award recipient Kenny Rogers.

On Thursday, March 1st, CRB, Inc. ® will once again offer attendees the option of purchasing the Spring Town Meeting package. Registration for the package is only $ 110 onsite, and includes admission into CRS-38 afternoon sessions on Thursday, March 1st.

The Agenda for The Spring Town Meeting, sponsored by BMI, includes:

Hispanic Study Research Presentation (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM) - Edison Media Research presents the results of the first-ever study of Hispanic Americans and their relationship with Country Radio and Country Music. The study analyzes Census statistics and Arbitron data, combined with an nationally sampled survey of Hispanic Americans and one-on-one in-depth interviews with Hispanics aged 12-49.

No Holds Barred (Rap Session) (3:15 PM - 4:10 PM) - Sit back and relax for an open, honest discussion with the leaders in YOUR business.  Bob Kingsley of Bob Kingsley's Top 40 asks the questions as Scott Lindy/Sirius Satellite, Mike Dungan/Capitol Nashville, Luke Lewis/UMG, Charlie Cook/Cumulus Media and Clay Walker/Curb/Asylum sit at the bar and share their thoughts and concerns on Country's past, present and future.

WCRS LIVE! (4:15 PM - 5:45 PM) - Co-sponsored by BMI and Country Aircheck, this showcase will feature acoustic performances by top singer/song-writers Sarah Buxton, Pat Green, Mac Davis and the show's host, Jeffrey Steele.

BMI Exhibit Area Networking Hour (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM) - Thursday Happy Hour is directly after WCRS Live! in the Exhibit Area.

CRB, Inc. ® has designated Friday, March 2, Radio Sales Day at CRS-38. Registration for this special offer is only $335 onsite. Registrants will be able to attend a full day of CRS activities as well as Friday night's annual New Faces of Country Music Show. Friday's schedule will focus on radio sales topics. The four panels include:

Prospecting:How to Hit the Motherload, WWW.CLICKYOURMONEYMAKER.COM, Your Baby is Ugly:Why I Don't Buy Radio, but You Will on Monday and I'll Buy That. Good Commercials Sell with Thomas Hripko. This offer is available to radio sales staff and their accompanying clients.
