Trent Tomlinson to Replace Taylor Swift at CRS-38 New Faces of Country Music® Show

Trent Tomlinson to Replace Taylor Swift at CRS-38 New Faces of Country Music® Show

Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. (CRB) has announced that Lyric Street recording artist Trent Tomlinson will perform at the CRS-38 New Faces of Country Music® Dinner and Show on Friday, March 2, 2007. Tomlinson replaces previously announced performer Taylor Swift, who had to withdraw due to a scheduling conflict. Swift is currently on tour with George Strait, and has a show the same night in Kansas City, MO.

Tomlinson will join previously announced 2007 New Faces performers Rodney Atkins, Eric Church, Jack Ingram and Miranda Lambert.

Scott Borchetta, President & CEO of Big Machine Records said, "The good news is Taylor Swift is in demand. The unfortunate news is, due to Taylor's prior commitment to George Strait's tour, she will not be able to appear on this year's CRS New Faces Show. We made every effort to have her do double duty on March 2 but ultimately the CRB was not comfortable that the show could come off as scheduled. However, Taylor will perform at full power at Big Machine's 'Big Night Out' on Thursday evening. She's not going to miss her first full CRS."

Added CRB Executive Director Ed Salamon, "Trent was the artist getting the next amount of votes for the New Faces Show from the CRS radio attendees. We are glad he was able to make himself available to perform."

The New Faces of Country Music® Dinner and Show is sponsored by Radio & Records and The Country Music Association. ABC Radio's American Country Countdown host Kix Brooks will emcee the event. Attendance is limited to CRS-38 registrants and guests.

CRS-38 will be held February 28 through March 2, 2007 at the Nashville Convention Center. Complete Seminar Information may be obtained by contacting CRB, Inc. at 615.327.4487 or by visiting www.crb.org. Country Radio Seminar is a registered trademark of Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc.
